Beating the elements

Here, Robert, and son Peter, above, succeed in spite of the elements.

Trip started out on a mild Tassie spring day where Peter got his first ever wild brown on a bead head dark brown nymph but then turned wild and windy when Robert got his first for the trip (on the same rig).

As well as providing a very tasty entré for dinner, the guys certainly improved their casting and line control and are now ready for any unsuspecting trout that puts its nose up from dead calm to roaring 40s.
