Tales of Scales

Despite the power being off till mid afternoon, that night, Helen, Michael and the staff at the Central Highlands Lodge put on a top spread – great service and excellent food — for Steve and Jo Starling’s presentation night.

Top table with the Starlings, the Wayne & Anna Bellett (Tie-in committee) myself and partner Jenny.

Steve talking about his lifelong passion for all things fishing and Jo (looking on) followed with her vision for women in fishing aiming for a 50/50 participation by 2050.
A number of TGALT members supported the night with Lucky Door prizes – two lucky winners- 2 x pax FOC fly fishing at Currawong Lakes – the other 2 x bottles of Tasmania’s Winter Gin company products.
Another Lucky winner – Beyond Trout all inclusive portable fly tying kit.

Our Herne fly fishing workshop day winner – already booked in to convert to action on our Nov. 5th day.
A great night was had by all and thanks again to the Central Highlands Lodge, Steve & Jo and the TGALT members that supported it.
